Mohamed al Fayed: CPS ‘solely wished to take circumstances they might win,’ says former victims’ commissioner

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has acknowledged it had twice did not deliver prices in opposition to Mohamed al Fayed for sexual abuse.

Former victims’ commissioner Dame Vera Baird advised Sky News that the Crown Prosecution Service "placed a very high premium on their conviction rate – meaning they would only take on cases they could win".
