The mom of a transgender boy who died after self-harming in a psychological well being unit is looking for a public inquiry into his care.
Charlie Millers, 17, was discovered unconscious in his room at Prestwich Hospital in Manchester in 2020 and was the third particular person to die on the unit in underneath a 12 months.
His mom Sam Millers says ‘"Three deaths in nine months due to the same observation failings is really concerning and we are going to push for a public inquiry."
