Mother shares challenges of being an unpaid carer for her 38-year-old son
Tania Tillyer has spent almost all of her adult life caring for her son Lee, who is quadriplegic, has severe learning difficulties and is blind.
Health think tank – The King’s Fund – has called for more support for the nation’s army of unpaid carers who provide close to eight billion hours of work every year.
