Musk courts Taylor Swift’s content for X

Elon Musk, the owner of X, is eager for Taylor Swift, a popular pop star, to utilize his platform as a means of promoting her upcoming album cycle.

Mr. Musk provided Ms. Swift with free career advice in an effort to encourage multimedia artists to publish their work on X.

On Wednesday, he responded to the announcement of her upcoming album “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” by suggesting that she directly share some music or concert videos on the X platform.

It is anticipated that the album, which is a reiteration of her 2014 release “1989,” will be a tremendous success.

Mr. Musk’s effort to persuade Ms. Swift to release her content on X serves as additional evidence of his commitment to transforming the platform into a comprehensive application.

After assuming control of the company in the previous year, Mr. Musk has approached numerous media personalities to release their content solely on X. The latest addition is Tucker Carlson, the former Fox News host, who debuted his show “Tucker on X” on the platform. Additionally, X became the exclusive platform for the investigative journalism piece “The Twitter Files” this year.

Mr. Musk‘s efforts have gone deeper into politics, with Flordia Gov. Ron DeSantis announcing his candidacy on X.
