My Wish: Bradee Vance will get his want to watch Duke vs. UNC 🏀 | ESPN
As a part of the 2024 My Wish collection we convey you the story of Bradee Vance, a younger man from Fort Gay, West Virginia who grew up loving the sport of basketball and the Duke Blue Devils. At the age of 13 Bradee was identified with a uncommon illness that required a live-saving kidney transplant. In dire want of a donor, his aunt Kristy Watts volunteered to present her kidney. After a profitable surgical procedure Bradee bounced again and was even capable of play basketball once more. We stunned him at halftime of one among his video games and revealed that his want to see a Duke-UNC sport in Durham had been granted. In Durham, we adopted Bradee for 2 days as he had the chance to tour the Blue Devil basketball facility, meet Coach Scheyer and the whole staff, and even spent some one-on-one time with the legendary Coach Okay, all earlier than attending the sport.
