NBA G League participant, girlfriend charged with homicide after girl’s stays present in Las Vegas desert

An NBA G League participant has been arrested and charged with homicide within the demise of a 23-year-old girl in Las Vegas earlier this month.

FBI brokers took Chance Comanche into custody Friday in Sacramento County, California, on fees of kidnapping in reference to the Dec. 6 disappearance of Marayna Rodgers.

ESPN reported Sunday night that Mr. Comanche, 27, and his girlfriend had fees upgraded to homicide when Ms. Rodgers’ stays have been present in a desert space in Henderson, Nevada.



Mr. Comanche is about to seem in courtroom on Tuesday. He is being held with out bond.

Las Vegas police had arrested Sakari Harnden, 19, on kidnapping fees final week. She stays behind bars on $500,000 bail.

According to ESPN, Ms. Rodgers had “a prearranged meeting” on Dec. 5 with Ms. Harnden, who introduced alongside Mr. Comanche.

“Early in the investigation, detectives suspected foul play and obtained evidence to arrest Harnden and her boyfriend Comanche for their role in the kidnapping and disappearance of Rodgers,” Las Vegas police mentioned in a press release.

ESPN reported that Ms. Rodgers is “a medical assistant from Washington state who last was seen in the Las Vegas area.”

Mr. Comanche was launched by the Stockton Kings on Friday, the day of his arrest. The Kings declined to touch upon Mr. Comanche’s launch.

The Stockton Kings performed a sport in Henderson, Nevada, on Dec. 5, the day earlier than Ms. Rodgers was final seen alive. The crew performed one other sport in Portland, Oregon, on Dec. 7.
