New checks for UK meals and agriculture imports from 31 January | Brexit

New Brexit border controls will depart British shoppers and companies dealing with greater than £500m in elevated prices and attainable delays – in addition to shortages of meals and recent flowers imported from the European Union.

The new guidelines are meant to guard biosecurity by imposing controls on plant and animal merchandise thought of a "medium" threat. These embody 5 classes of reduce flowers, cheese and dairy produce, chilled and frozen meat, and fish.
