A New York City Council worker was detained throughout a "routine" immigration appointment on Long Island on Monday, in accordance with metropolis officers, who referred to as the incident an "egregious government overreach."
Mayor Zohran Mamdani mentioned he’s "outraged" by the employee’s arrest.
