All three of Wall Street’s fundamental inventory indexes have opened down. The Dow Jones Industrial Average index of 30 main corporations listed on US inventory exchanges dropped 1.6%, much more than the open yesterday. The S&P 500 index of corporations, typically relied on to be secure and worthwhile, misplaced 2.3%.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq was down almost 3%.
