There is "no doubt" the UK "will spend 3% of our GDP on defence" within the subsequent parliament, the defence secretary John Healy has mentioned.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has beforehand set out a "clear ambition" to lift defence spending to three% within the subsequent parliament.
However, he has said that that is "subject to economic and fiscal conditions".
