‘Not my King’: King Charles attends first Maundy Thursday service of his reign
The King waved at crowds gathered outside York Minster as a group of anti-monarchy protesters chanted ‘not my King’.
As the King and Queen Consort entered the cathedral, the royals were greeted and presented with a traditional nosegay, a small flower bouquet.
Keeping up with traditions, just as the late Queen did – the King presented 74 men and 74 women with Maundy money.
