Chancellor Rachel Reeves says she’s proud to have delivered "real, meaningful pay rises" to tens of millions of public sector staff.
However, throughout her speech on the Labour Party convention in Liverpool, the Royal College of Nursing has rejected the federal government’s 5.5% pay rise provide.
