Nurses threaten industrial motion poll after rejecting pay improve

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has threatened to poll its members on industrial motion if the federal government fails to succeed in an settlement on funding within the career over the summer time.

It comes after members of the union rejected a 3.6% pay improve for 2025/26 in England. Nurses really feel "deeply undervalued," stated Professor Nicola Ranger, common secretary and chief govt of the RCN.
