Former President Barack Obama issued a name to motion for Democrats at a personal fundraiser in New Jersey on Friday night, urging these annoyed by the state of the nation underneath President Donald Trump to “stand up for the things that you think are right.”
“I think it’s going to require a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining and being in fetal positions. And it’s going to require Democrats to just toughen up,” Obama mentioned on the fundraiser, in response to excerpts of his remarks solely obtained by CNN.
