There was a lot to have a good time on the Oscars March 15. While Sinners’ Michael B. Jordan took house the Best Actor trophy and Hamnet’s Jessie Buckley nabbed the Best Actress statue, One Battle After Another scored the evening’s largest award: Best New Picture. “We’re happy to be part of this a wonderful, wonderful journey with our fellow nominees, our fellow filmmakers, our fellow filmmakers that even weren’t recognized by the Academy,” director Paul Thomas Anderson stated in his acceptance speech. “There’s so many great films this year.”
