Cabinet Office Minister Nick Thomas-Symonds has advised Sky News that the "pace of change" below Labour led to the collapse of his celebration’s vote in Caerphilly.
Labour had held Caerphilly at each election because it was created in 1999 – in addition to the parliamentary seat for over a century. Its candidate acquired 3,713 votes, and completed in third place.
