Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has claimed they’re now in "open war" with Afghanistan.
After rising tensions over the previous few days and longstanding disagreements, Pakistan bombed a number of Taliban targets in neighbouring Afghanistan.
Both sides declare to have inflicted losses and Pakistan warned its persistence has run out.
