Rishi Sunak is to extend UK defence spending to 2.5% of GDP by 2030, as he warned Europe is at a "turning point" within the face of the rising threats from Russia, Iran and China.
The dedication quantities to an extra £75bn in funding over the subsequent six years.
Speaking in Poland, the prime minister stated the extra funding represents the "biggest strengthening of our national defence in a generation to meet the challenge of an increasingly dangerous world".
