Kemi Badenoch’s first query to Sir Keir Starmer at PMQs involved the kid grooming scandal.
She says on Monday, the prime minister’s safeguarding minister admitted there was a "cover-up" of the kid rape gang scandal, and asks whether or not he thinks "we should expose this".
Sir Keir replies that he oversaw the primary grooming gang prosecution in his earlier function as director of public prosecutions.
He then accuses Ms Badenoch of by no means elevating the problem within the Commons "in three years" whereas she was the youngsters’s minister.
