Pope Francis is "not out of danger" and can stay in hospital for no less than another week, medical doctors treating him have mentioned.
However, of their first in-person replace every week after the pontiff was taken to hospital, medics have additionally mentioned he was not susceptible to loss of life.
Sergio Alfieri, the chief of the pontiff’s medical staff, mentioned: "Is he out of danger? No. But if the question is ‘is he in danger of death’, the answer is ‘no’."
