The inquiry into the Post Office Horizon scandal has heard that Fujitsu workers may remotely entry postmasters’ accounts as early as 2002.
Staff on the Japanese software program firm may change the accounts of sub-postmasters with out them understanding.
The firm had initially mentioned its workers didn’t have entry to accounts.
More than 700 Post Office sub-postmasters had been prosecuted after a defective laptop system made it appear like cash was lacking.
Business Secretary Kemi Badenoch has written to Fujitsu to demand talks on compensation.
