Powerlist 2026 celebrates its twentieth anniversary – acknowledging the achievements of probably the most influential individuals of black African, Caribbean and African American heritage within the UK.
This 12 months’s winner, chief monetary officer and govt director of the Bank of England, Afua Kyei, spoke to Sky News.
She mentioned, "it feels very surreal, I’m incredibly honoured and incredibly humbled – to see myself on the same list as household names Ian Wright, Idris Elba, Dame Pat McGrath is incredibly humbling".
