The first part in a historic peace deal between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has been reached following negotiations in Egypt, President Trump introduced.
The Israeli authorities is anticipated to ratify the deal at round 11 a.m. ET on Thursday, after which a ceasefire is anticipated to return into impact.
Phase one of many deal will see all remaining hostages returned from Gaza, various Palestinian prisoners launched from Israeli jails and the partial withdrawal of the Israel Defense Forces contained in the strip.
