Sir Keir Starmer will warn the NHS should "reform or die", as the federal government publishes an impartial investigation into the state of the well being service.
The report – ordered by Health Secretary Wes Streeting days after he took on the position – was carried out by peer and surgeon Lord Darzi.
It will conclude the NHS is in a "critical condition", with report ready lists and an excessive amount of of its funds spent in hospitals, in addition to saying the nation’s well being had considerably deteriorated over the previous 15 years
