Iran’s Kharg Island has been hit by a number of strikes, in keeping with a report from the Iranian Mehr information company.
Security and defence analyst Professor Michael Clarke mentioned "if Kharg Island is being struck heavily, and it sounds as if it might be being, then that immediately puts Iran into a deep crisis."
"If you destroy what’s on Kharg Island, the Iranian economy will shudder to a halt," he added.
