Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff have begun talks in St Petersburg aimed toward shifting the peace course of alongside.
Ahead of the assembly, the US president posted on Truth Social that "Russia has to get moving".
But the Kremlin has performed down any possibilities of a breakthrough and has not supplied any concessions or compromises aimed toward reaching a complete ceasefire.
