Russian President Vladimir Putin held his annual marathon press convention, which lasted greater than 4 hours. He signaled that Russia could also be open to a negotiated finish to the battle with Ukraine, saying Russia was “ready and willing to end this conflict peacefully,” but in addition made it clear that army operations would proceed for so long as the Kremlin deems essential.
