Rafah border crossing ‘technically open’

Israel has confirmed the Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt has reopened.

The border has been closed for practically two years after Israel seized the crossing in May 2024, and its reopening was a key a part of the ceasefire deal.

Middle East correspondent Adam Parsons explains the importance of this second and who will probably be allowed to cross the border.
