Boxer Ricky Hatton had mind illness brought on by repeated head trauma when he died, an inquest has dominated.
Alison Mutch, senior coroner for South Manchester, recorded a verdict of hanging, saying he was the one who precipitated his personal demise.
But she didn’t come to the conclusion it was suicide, saying it was unclear whether or not the previous world champion meant to take his personal life.
