Rishi Sunak "made a mistake" by leaving D-Day commemorations early, the Business Minister has instructed Sky News.
Speaking to Ali Fortescue on Politics Hub, Kevin Hollinrake stated: "He made a mistake and he was, in fact, within the commemorations within the UK and within the British commemorations in France.
He added that the Prime Minister had apologised and stated he thought it was "time now to talk about other issues."
Mr Hollinrake stated that just one particular person he had spoken to in his constituency immediately had raised D-Day as a problem.
