Russia has denied violating NATO airspace after three of its navy jets flew by means of the skies over Estonia for 12 minutes.
Military specialists say the transfer was geared toward figuring out NATO capabilities and testing the alliance’s resolve.
It was the third incursion into NATO airspace by Russia this month.
The assertion launched by Moscow mentioned: "On September 19 of this yr, three Russian MiG-31 fighter jets made a scheduled flight from Karelia to an airfield within the Kaliningrad area.
"The flight was conducted in strict accordance with the International Rules for the Use of Airspace, without violating the borders of other states, as confirmed by objective monitoring means."
