Russian journalists accused of working with Alexei Navalny jailed for greater than 5 years every

Four journalists have been sentenced to five-and-a-half years in jail every in Russia, after being convicted on extremism expenses for work they did for an anti-corruption group based by the late opposition chief, Alexei Navalny.

Antonina Favorskaya, Sergei Karelin, Konstantin Gabov, and Artem Kriger all maintained their innocence, arguing they had been being prosecuted for doing their job.
