Rwanda: We did not need to ‘throw the child out with the tub water’
Brendan Clarke-Smith who resigned as Tory celebration deputy chairman this week to vote for insurgent amendments on Rwanda has defined why he voted for the invoice regardless of being sad with it.
He stated that "throwing the baby out with the bath water and taking the whole bill down" was one thing "a lot of us didn’t want to do".
"I’ll be very, very happy if I’m proved wrong and this bill goes through when we do get those planes off the tarmac," he added.
