Safeguarding minister says authorities is tackling violence in opposition to girls as a precedence
Safeguarding minister Jess Phillips says it is a "national emergency" that ladies do not feel protected and has promised the federal government is working to deal with violence in opposition to girls and women as a precedence.
The Labour MP advised the Commons, "those who commit heinous crimes against women and girls have no place in policing." It follows the publication of The Angiolini Inquiry, which seemed into the loss of life of Sarah Everard, who was raped and murdered by a Met Police officer.
