Scotland’s First Minister backs requires pause on asylum arrivals in Glasgow
Scottish First Minister John Swinney has joined requires a pause on new asylum arrivals in Glasgow.
UK-wide figures present Glasgow was the native authority with the best proportion of housed asylum seekers.
Speaking to Sky News forward of the SNP convention in Aberdeen, Mr Swinney stated Glasgow City Council’s demand is a "fair and reasonable approach".
He additionally stated that he finds "Nigel Farage’s politics repulsive".
