Howie Mandel is proving that compliments aren’t at all times as flattering as they sound. After Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos congratulated the ‘America’s Got Talent’ decide on turning 70, a lighthearted remark about how “it doesn’t make any sense” how nicely he’s getting old shortly became a hilarious debate on ‘Live with Kelly and Mark.’ Howie wasn’t satisfied the reward was real, calling out what he felt was backhanded flattery and pushing again on the concept of trying “great for 70.” Despite Kelly’s insistence that she merely couldn’t consider his age, Howie argued that age‑associated compliments at all times include an unstated caveat. Comparing it to saying somebody is “smart for a stupid person,” the Deal or No Deal host had the viewers laughing as he broke down why these remarks miss the mark. Mark Consuelos, nevertheless, refused to again down, repeatedly standing by the praise and insisting that Howie genuinely seems nice, age apart.
