Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham expressed nice opposition and distrust in Pakistan’s position as a mediator between the US and Iran. He additionally referenced a CBS News report that Pakistan allowed Iranian navy plane to park on its airfields. Pakistan has rejected the report, with its Foreign Affairs Ministry saying in an announcement, “Following the ceasefire and during the initial round of the Islamabad Talks, a number of aircraft from Iran and the United States arrived in Pakistan to facilitate the movement of diplomatic personnel, security teams, and administrative staff associated with the talks process.”
