Senate advances struggle powers decision to rein in Trump on Venezuela

In a uncommon rebuke to the Trump administration, the Senate on Thursday superior a struggle powers decision that may block the president’s use of the U.S. armed forces to interact in hostilities inside or towards Venezuela except licensed by Congress.

Republican senators Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Todd Young, Susan Collins and Josh Hawley voted with all Democrats in favor of the laws.
