‘Shame there’s not sufficient opposition MPs to take away the PM,’ says Badenoch

Leader of the opposition, Kemi Badenoch continues to recommend Sir Keir Starmer ought to step down as "in any normal circumstances, the prime minister would be resigning."

She continued: "He’s been shown to have lied to the Commons – he told everyone that he did not know the full extent of Peter Mandelson’s relationship with the convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and now we can see from the release of the files that, that is not true."

Badenoch urges Labour MPs to "ask themselves, in good conscience, should Starmer be running our country?"
