“Shred Sisters” creator Betsy Lerner opens up about writing her first novel

From the March sisters in "Little Women" to Cinderella and her depraved stepsisters, the connection between feminine siblings is a favourite in works of fiction. One of the most recent novels to enter that realm is Betsy Lerner’s "Shred Sisters," a guide that takes the reader on an emotional journey with three siblings. Lerner sat down with Dana Jacobson to speak about writing the novel, and the way her earlier non-fiction writing knowledgeable the story.

"CBS Saturday Morning" co-hosts Michelle Miller and Dana Jacobson ship two hours of authentic reporting and breaking information, in addition to profiles of main figures in tradition and the humanities. Watch "CBS Saturday Morning" at 7 a.m. ET on CBS and eight a.m. ET on the CBS News app.
