Amy Duggar King is breaking her silence on her cousin Joseph Duggar’s arrest. The ‘Holy Disruptor’ creator addressed the allegations in opposition to the 31-year-old, who was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct involving illegal sexual exercise with a minor on March 18 over a collection of alleged incidents with a then-9-year-old lady in 2020. "I am sickened, heartbroken and deeply angry," Amy started in a March 20 assertion to People. "My first thoughts are with the victim, a child who deserved to be safe, protected and surrounded by people she could trust." Although the 39-year-old mentioned she was "utterly shocked to hear about these allegations and Joseph’s arrest," she famous, "at the same time, I am not surprised that another alleged predator has emerged from this toxic system." Amy added, "Family ties should never equal automatic trust or access, especially when it comes to the safety of children." Her cousin and Joseph’s brother Josh Duggar, 38, is serving a 12-year jail sentence on youngster pornography fees.
