Sky News Breakfast: Brianna Ghey’s father calls for apology from PM after transgender jibe in Commons
Join Kay Burley and the Sky News Breakfast crew this morning, as the daddy of murdered transgender teenager Brianna Ghey has demanded an apology from Rishi Sunak, saying he was "shocked" by the prime minister’s feedback within the Commons at the moment.
Speaking to Sky News, Peter Spooner stated Mr Sunak’s remarks throughout PMQs, which the schoolgirl’s mom Esther Ghey attended, have been "degrading" and "absolutely dehumanising".
He stated: "As the prime minister for our nation to return out with degrading feedback like he did, no matter them being in relation to discussions in parliament, they’re completely dehumanising.
"Identities of people should not be used in that manner, and I personally feel shocked by his comments and feel he should apologise for his remarks."
Also, A US drone strike in Baghdad has killed three members of the highly effective Kata’ib Hezbollah militia, together with a high-ranking commander, in keeping with US officers.
