A person has been arrested on suspicion of tried homicide after a military officer in uniform was stabbed close to a barracks in Kent.
The Prime Minister has condemned the assault, saying he’s "shocked and appalled".
The soldier is in a critical however steady situation after being airlifted to hospital.
