‘Sovereignty rests with us’: UK responds after US ‘considers reviewing declare to Falkland Islands’

Downing Street has hit again on the US amid stories it’s contemplating reassessing its assist for Britain’s declare to the Falkland Islands.

In response, the prime minister’s official spokesman informed journalists: "We couldn’t be clearer concerning the UK’s place on the Falklands.

"It’s longstanding, it’s unchanged. Sovereignty rests with the UK and self-determination is paramount."
