Splashdown! Artemis II crew return to Earth after historic moon mission
After hurtling by means of the Earth’s ambiance, the Orion capsule has safely landed within the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego.
NASA had anticipated the capsule to succeed in speeds of as much as 23,839 mph (38,365 kph) upon its re-entry to Earth’s ambiance.
