Starmer blames Conservatives for collapse of China spy case
Sir Keir Starmer has promised to publish the proof submitted by the federal government as a part of the collapsed China spy case.
He informed MPs he would publish the witness statements on the case.
Charges have been dropped towards Christopher Cash and Christopher Berry as a result of China had not been designated as a risk to nationwide safety.
Sir Keir informed the Commons the Conservative administration’s Integrated Review of 2021 and the refresh of that doc in 2023 have been "very carefully worded to not describe China as an enemy".
