Starmer ‘not involved in Wales’ and Labour ‘shedding votes to Plaid Cymru’
Rhun ap Iorwerth insists the battle for Wales shouldn’t be between Labour and Reform, however between Labour and Plaid Cymru.
The chief of the Welsh nationalist get together insists that Reform UK "haven’t even got a leader in Wales or candidates in Wales", and calls it a "two-horse race", as an alternative.
Speaking to Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips, he says: "Labour shouldn’t be shedding votes to Reform in Wales, or if they’re, it is in very small numbers.
"Labour is losing votes in Wales in very significant numbers to Plaid Cymru with studies showing that maybe a third or even more of people who voted Labour last year [will vote Plaid]."
