Steelers Coach’s Action Speaks Louder Than Words As He’s Asked About Contract

Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin walked out of a press convention on Monday midway by means of a reporter asking a query about his contract standing. (Watch the video beneath.)

The coach, whose group had simply misplaced to Buffalo in an NFL playoff sport, reportedly faces an unsure future. And it was clear he didn’t need to focus on it.

“Mike, you have a year left on your contract…” a reporter may be heard saying.

Tomlin instantly turned and strode off with out a phrase.

The Steelers’ 31-17 defeat was the group’s fifth straight playoff loss going again to 2016. But Tomlin’s 17-season reign total has been stellar ― a Super Bowl title, two AFC titles and never one shedding file in all of his campaigns.

ESPN character Stephen A. Smith stated Tomlin’s poor postseason streak of late “cannot be ignored,” and that it’s honest for followers to not less than ask if it’s “time for him to go.”

Steelers defensive deal with Cameron Heyward, who faces profession questions of his personal at age 34, left little question about whether or not he needs Tomlin to return.

“Every player wouldn’t be anything without Mike T,” Heyward stated, per CNN. “This group would not function to even get to a playoff berth without Mike T. He keeps us accountable from top to bottom. I don’t want to play for any other coach.”

Tomlin, 51, will seemingly meet with Steelers proprietor Art Rooney II quickly to debate his standing, ESPN reviews.
