Five years after medical hashish was legalised, the federal government nonetheless hasn’t funded medical trials that would see it getting used on the NHS, Sky News has been instructed.
The Home Office reclassified the drug in 2018 to permit specialist docs to prescribe the drug below tight controls.
But a 12 months later the NHS watchdog NICE warned docs that they should not prescribe the drug to the eight million sufferers with continual ache, as a result of it mentioned there weren’t sufficient good high quality medical trials.
