Storm Floris is hitting the UK – with prepare firms within the hardest-hit areas urging passengers to not journey at this time.
The Met Office has issued an amber "danger to life" warning for wind in components of Scotland, with gusts of as much as 90mph doable.
That alert is in drive from 10am till 10pm, with forecasters warning "unusually strong" winds may shut roads and injury buildings.
